It is at the edge of a petal that love waits.

A week ago, my father had an operation of Achilles tendon injury. Achilles tendon rupture requires immediate immobilization or surgery to reconnect the tendon. It was a minor operation and everything went well.

These are some flowers that we cordially received from our friends and relatives during our stay in the hospital.

Hi Mania,

I'm happy to hear that your father's surgery went well. I wish for him a speedy recovery.

The flowers are so lovely.

I saw a quote today and I saved it for you. I can't remember if I've sent it to you before or not. It seems familiar, though.

"Keep a green tree alive in your heart and a songbird may come to sing there."

- Chinese Proverb

Thanks Sophia.

yES, the meaning is quite the same. I do remember it. I used this quote in my another recent post.

I am glad your father's surgery went well! Flowers sent by friends mean a lot, don't they? You captured them very well!

It is great to know that your father's surgery went well and he is on the road to recovery. These flowers in your photographs are lovely. I like the fragrance of roses and red certainly denotes vibrancy while the white ones are pretty and pure. Flowers are certainly very appropriate gifts to brighten up a person's day.
